say give one to a french waiter to assiniate a german officer, i have an actual tray somewhere and i will go and buy a cheap springer that is easy to concel under the tray. but still it seems quite french resistance.

me and tiny have also designed today an exploding gateaux, LITERALLY

when its put down, KABLAM cake everywhere. the trick will be for the french to "deliver it" without blowing themselfs up

It does seem that way, having never met any of them i cant tell if this is unusual or unexpected for them but it seems alittle unreasonable to get upset over people running events other than your own.

I was considering making 2 identical exploding gateaux's for the day. That way if i (or whoever volunteers to carry it in full knowledge of what it is), gets shot whilst attempting to deliver it, then we can have a spectacular cake-bomb related death. This is dependant on whether there is anyone within splatting distance or not. I don't want to get people's kit covered in chocolate gateaux. As me and porta very well know from a particular corporals mess doo many moons ago, it totally ruins clothing. That tuxedo hire shop is still 2 tux's down!

OK all back on track and CW has just sent me a PM .

Is there anything you would like me to do in the game - take a 'scripted' or game role to help along the game plan?

So we do need to start polishing up a few points on this event.

Also regen points, we know the German one is first floor end of F block but allied is still a mystery aint it?

I have three MwtFB canvases already done (I'll have one down my trouser leg) and I can do a Mr Hilter canvas as well if you wish.

I'm happy to fulfill any special roles you might have prepared or trigger events through a course of action etc.

I'm looking for motivation as well - shall I fall in love with Rene?
Or shall I ruin Nige's relationship with g/f for ever by mistaking Michelle Dubois for a French tart?

I would say once the combat starts they should share a spawn
but start at there respective start points
Also how many German officers do we have?
Prehaps the allied Regen could be down near the buildings we cant go into, like they have come from the local village to back up the Resistnce.
Oh yeah and i have a friend willing to play designated camera man like portas mate did last year, he cant afford the game fee though
he would just come in his old school uniform, tousers and shirt like the French.

I hope you are there on Saturday night as we need to give you a look over the place as we set things up.
We intend you to have the posh office on the top floor (I think it was) with a desk or table as best we can set up on the day. It will be a sheet over to hide how poor it may be, I hope to have a swastika or painting of Hitler behind you or in the room some place.
Like shown here this is actually the US Presidents desk I pasted in and stuck a bust of Hitler on it but Ho Hum it was the best look I could find

I would think at least one of the knockwurst should be on a platter in the office along with some plonk we will bring with glasses etc

We should have a few officers up there with you.

We would like most of the Germans to just be looking the place over and not stood waiting for an attack as I have said previous so we could do with some guidance given to them to go for a wander and look the place over.

As you are on the inside track with us CW you may now know that Rooster & Spires are lined up on the booking list against 2 characters on the US list Smith & Jones (yes alias Smith & Jones ).

So as per the movie which you told me you have never seen we have 2 US dressed as Germans who turn on the Germans as the US attack the Chateau.

As for the GF we all have to hold our tonges me especially, as you may know one week she is going next she isn't

I still lean to the French having a regen inside but will say the US regen is by the buildings by the car park outside.
Once/ if the US push the Germans back then they may share the French regen but if this makes them too strong we may change it. We got the US regen to close at Anarchy and it caused a big problem .

We will not know how many officers until the day but we could ask in the general chat thread

I also intend to have a Kubelwagen on site and for Rooster and Spiers to drive up as in the movie.
They should have a kit bag of some form to enable them to change kit later on.

Here are some points marked on the map and timing suggestions but these are a work in progress.

I would say we need everyone in position for 10.00.
So people should start set up by 09.30.
I want Michelle Dubois at point A US start point with SOE radio.
She should brief the US team.

I am Michelle I will say this only once, I am to inform you about conditions at the Chateau.
We have a number of resistance in the Chateau and they will assist you once you start the attack.
They will be wearing resistance arm bands and should not be shot at.
There are 3 British SOE operatives (2 live and 1 corpse) held prisoner there for the last week and we need to free them, however we do not know where they are held.
The leader of the resistance is Rene he is dressed as waiter and has a short moustache.

At about 10.10 we want the Kubelwagon to drive in from the large car park on the right of the map and drop off Spires & Rooster.
The Kubelwagon is not to be shot at or the driver-- attachment is not available --

Spires & Rooster are to find the radio room and kill the radio operator, they then send a radio message to the US that they have taken the radio room. ( they may then have to change into US jackets before they start shooting? )
Both of the radio MP3 players should be started at 10.00 and the Klaxon sound will play at about 10.20 for about 10-15 min, this is to alarm the Germans that there is an attack started.
Maybe we need Rooster & Spiers to start the 2 radios once they capture the radio room.
As I said there is a 20 min delay before the Klaxon, I think we will use the 2 radios and one may have to be near the F block to spread the audio around the complex. We could have Tiny turn the second unit on in the F block but it is best if they are in sync with each other.

The audio should run for 2 hours then loop back, it has period German music and some gun shots here and there to make people jump.

Once the klaxon sounds German command should then endeavour to investigate what is happening and take steps.

We will also have Gestapo interrogating the SOE prisoners it could be that they should start about 09.45 it depends how much fun they want with the role.

Back at point A the US will have their brief and send out a small recon team to look over the rear of the site near to the Safe zone area.
They will probably have my handytalkie to com back to me at point A, they should not engage with any German patrol.

Once a transmission is sent from the Chateau by Spires (maybe Rene has a short moustache) then the attack can start in from 2 points.
This may be about 10.30 - 10.45.

It would be good to have many of the Germans in the F block area which is the Garrison and the command send a runner for assistance however the Klaxon should do this job.

Knockwurst I have made about 6 of these and 2 are cut in half to have papers inside them D-day plans/ paintings.
We should have them in several locations for the French to find.

We talked about the regens last time there and I think it was suggested to close the stairs off from 1st floor to ground next to the German regen. I think this may be the answer we also need to think about how to use ground floor below the German regen, could this be a place the French use more in some way?

Ok I have been thinking about the Gestapo interrogation bit using the chair.

I don't know where you want to do this bit Porta?

I think we should give the 2 guys a key word or phrase to say to stop them getting a shock straight away.

If they want to do this the proper way they should interrogate each guy separate so the other does not know if his mate gave in or what he said

If they both give the same phrase / key word then they lock them up in the cell.
This is why I think they should maybe start on this a little early so they can all have some fun with the role.

Now should all taking part know the key words to stop or should they go round a bit until they both give the same answer. Obviously the 2 guys should not get to talk to each other once the interrogation starts until they both give the same answer.

Now in terms of timing with the event if we have enough Germans we will have some outside on guard/ patrol.
These will delay the US getting inside the complex so the Gestapo may have up to 40min with this it is hard to predict.

resistance all do their own agenda within the plot
germans have a social and then defend, taking orders from me and pete

soe play the hostage for gestapo in whatever way they see fit

gestapo try and get all the paintings sosauges and other stuff. whilst checking on french civillians

keep all sides in the dark from each other and the K.I.S.S acronym, "keep it simple stupid"

Ok just trying to give them something a bit different and darker than normal for the first half hour

When you give it a try you will see how much fun is to be had with it.

An other point with the SOE is their guns, I am now thinking the French should give them to them or the US have them in the Kubelwagon outside.

We do need to think things through on timing a bit as the whole thing could be done in 1 hour if we get it wrong.

I think the Gestapo part should be about 4 guys, the 2 main guys and 2 PVT's one as a guard on the cell and the other to help.

Outside I think about 4 on guard / patrol this leaves 10 in various parts of the complex milling about interacting with the French etc.

This is providing the Germans on the booking list pay up

On the note, of paying is it ok if i pay on the day?

if Paperpirate dosent need a lift i do have a friend ready to act as a designated camera man, he wouldnt be able to pay a site fee, but would just be filming and would probably go in white shirt, black trousers kinda like how tiny will be dressed.
